Professional Sports Medicine Symposium
(with Cadaver Anatomy Lab)

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Professional Sports Medicine Symposium was put together by Certified Athletic Trainers and Licensed Physical Therapists to provide the attendees with the latest information on sports related conditions as well as increased knowledge in rehabilitation techniques and human cadaver  anatomy.  This symposium is very valuable for all healthcare providers that work in the clinical and athletic setting.
 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The participant will learn: 

• Surgical procedures associated with hand, elbow, shoulder and spine .
• Effective assessment of the hand, elbow, shoulder and spine .
• New techniques in the management and rehabilitation of hand, elbow, shoulder and spine injuries.
• Improved knowledge of human cadaver anatomy.
   

10 CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS FOR:

The Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) sets the standards for the practice of athletic training. The BOC is the only accredited certifying body for Athletic Trainers in the US.

The BOC provides a certification program for entry-level Athletic Trainers and recertification standards for Certified Athletic Trainers. The entry-level certification program is designed to establish standards for entry into the athletic training profession.
